(A) Parallel battery pack sharing function
The principle of shared battery is to isolate the fault through a special
rectifier, so that the rectification of two or more UPS in the parallel system
is synchronized, and the bus is equal, so that the UPS bus in the system is
directly parallel, and then the battery that meets the requirements of the
backup time of the system is connected to the parallel bus system, so as to
achieve battery sharing and reduce battery investment. Take 1+1 as an example.
In the traditional UPS solution, the system backup is -hour. If one UPS is
faulty, the UPS2 battery cannot be used by the UPS1. Therefore, one set of -4
hour battery strings must be configured for each UPS1 and UPS2 to ensure that
the system can stand by for one hour after power failure. With the shared
battery pack solution, the battery in the system can still provide energy for
UPS2 after UPS1 fails, so the entire system only needs to be configured with one
one-hour battery. This not only saves the direct investment of the battery, but
also saves the investment in the space, load-bearing and air conditioning of the
machine room, and also reduces the pollution to the environment.
(2) Intelligent battery management technology
There are many factors that affect battery life, mainly including
temperature, charge, discharge, cycle number and so on. If the above factors can
be comprehensively treated, the service life of the battery can be greatly
extended, the battery replacement cycle can be extended, and the battery
investment can be saved. Intelligent battery management of the UPS includes:
battery uniform floating charge management (uniform floating charge control),
charging temperature and month intelligent discharge termination voltage
control, in addition to electric detection and battery leakage detection
functions. In addition, you can choose a UPS with a wide voltage range to reduce
the number of battery discharges. Through the above several technologies, the
battery life can be greatly extended for 2-3 years.
