1. When using lithium-ion UPS, attention should be paid to various main
parameters of the UPS, such as input working voltage category, output waveform
type, power, long power supply system time, conversion time, well-known
lithium-ion brands, noise, equipment volume, net weight, etc. All types of UPS
are not suitable for full load operation. More than 20% of the output power
capacity should be embedded, and the load should operate between 40% -60% of the
rated power of the UPS.
2. When the UPS power supply is not used for a long time, it should be
turned on every time. For reserved UPS, it is recommended to keep the UPS in the
inverter operating state for at least 2-3 minutes every month to charge the
battery and increase the service life of rechargeable batteries. When charging a
battery, try to prevent overcurrent and overvoltage during charging. Moderate
charging and discharging helps to charge the battery.
3. Master the basic knowledge of lithium-ion UPS, carefully read the user
manual of mechanical equipment, understand the content of various warning
messages, warning codes, the meaning of display lights, causes, and preventive
measures. Understand the functions of various power switches and keys on
machines and equipment. Understand the actual operation of various UPS systems,
and have a clear understanding of their connections and interrelationships.
4. Strengthen daily inspections and maintenance, check for alarms, odors,
and abnormal noises in equipment, check for loose or hot joints, check for
normal operation of refrigeration and cooling fans, check for normal signs of
mechanical equipment, and solve problems immediately.
5. Maintain appropriate working temperature. The working temperature is a
key factor affecting the service life of lithium battery UPS. The optimal
operating temperature specified by rechargeable battery manufacturers is
generally between 20-25 ℃. Once the working temperature exceeds 25 ℃, the number
of battery cycles will be every 10 ℃.
